Privacy Policy

No account, no sign-up

This site has no user accounts. We do not ask for your name, your email address, or any other personal detail in order to use the photo booth.

Camera

The photo booth asks your browser for camera access so it can show a live preview and capture frames. The video is handled by your browser and drawn onto a canvas on your own device. Your camera feed is not streamed to us.

You can refuse camera access and still use the site by uploading pictures instead.

What is stored in your browser

The site uses your browser's local storage to remember your work as you move between screens. The following items may be stored:

• •capturedPhotos — the photos you have taken or uploaded, so the edit screen can display them
• •captureLayoutId — the strip layout you last chose
• •captureTimerSeconds — whether you last used the instant or the 3-second timer
• •selectedTemplateId — the template you last chose

This data stays on your device. You can remove it by retaking your photos, or by clearing site data in your browser settings.

Share links

Downloading a strip does not send it anywhere. The image file is generated in your browser and saved to your device.

If you choose “Copy link” or share to Pinterest, the finished strip is uploaded to our image storage so that the link can be opened by other people. That link is not password protected and is not listed anywhere, but anyone who has it can view the image.

Only the finished strip is uploaded. The individual source photos are not.

Please keep this in mind before sharing a strip that contains anything you would not want others to see.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
